The Curse of the Whitehorn Woman
Eighteen-year-old mixed-race girl Nora witnesses her mother, Mara, a member of the White Horn tribe, being brutally murdered by her father and the villagers, and then forced into prostitution. She uses her mother's spirit to curse everyone, uncovers the ritual master Gideon's plot to covet the spirit core, and even her maternal grandfather, who betrayed her mother, cannot escape retribution. In the end, she burns down the evil village and returns to her tribe to take revenge.
