Eight Minutes to Lose Your Bride, a Lifetime of Regret
On their wedding day, mafia heir Loren leaves his bride Gia stranded on the shore while he bends down to straighten the wet skirt of her best friend Clara, convinced Gia could never leave him. Gia calls Enzo, the most powerful mafia don in Italy: "I'll give you eight minutes." Another wedding yacht docks on time, and in front of everyone she marries a man standing far above Loren in status. Loren is consumed with regret. He cuts off Clara, sends flowers and begs to get back together—only to hear, "I accept your apology, but I will never forgive you." Enzo defends his wife fiercely in public, yet respects her space and waits patiently in private. In the end, Gia finally finds someone who truly cherishes her.
